Jeff Downton FNAEA CPEA MARLA DEA
Jeff started his career as an estate agent in 1989 where he quickly learnt every aspect of the trade. He became fully qualified as an Estate Agent, a Mortgage Advisor and more recently a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.
Selling property has been a huge part of his life and so it made sense to open a local business in a town he knew well, in an industry where he was guaranteed a high level of job satisfaction.
As well as being the Managing Director at Smart Property his other main role is to use his vast knowledge and experience to help his customers and team to overcome the many issues that arise during the buying and selling process. He is in constant contact with new and existing customers, solicitors, freeholders, mortgage lenders and surveyors to ensure that all of Smart Property’s clients moving experiences’ are as stress free as possible.
Marc has worked for Smart Property since 2013 and now looks after all of the valuations and manages the Sales Department. Marc says “Our customers appreciate the careful consideration that we take when putting their property on the market and we will always strive to provide you with the best possible price for your home”. Marc will personally negotiate the best deal for your property and many of our customers have said that they have felt they were “in safe hands” when dealing with this “friendly and professional” property expert.
Shelby joined the team at Smart Property in January 2016 and has been working alongside the sales team. Shelby’s main job role within the office is to successfully progress every sale that the sales team agree. She is in constant contact with buyers, sellers, solicitors, freeholders, mortgage lenders and surveyors to ensure that all of our clients moving experiences are as stress free as possible.
Shelby is also fully involved in the day to day running of the sales department and enjoys the fast paced work environment.
The Lettings and Management Team
Danielle joined the team at Smart Property Solutions in April 2013 and has been working closely with the lettings team ever since. Her main role within the office is to manage every aspect of the lettings business and to look after the day to day running of the lettings department. Danielle is continuing with her studies and is working towards the ARLA qualification.
Senior Lettings Negotiator
Georgia has been working for Smart Property since 2012 and has a vast knowledge of our current Lettings managed portfolio.
Georgia’s main role within the office is to complete referencing, updating landlords and tenants throughout the process, general administration including filing, uploading documents onto the online system and dealing with new and existing customers daily on a face to face basis.

Louise joined the team at Smart Property Solutions in April 2016 and has been working closely with the lettings team to assist with the smooth running of the managed portfolio.
